Jennifer Owensby - Director/Producer/WriterJennifer Owensby received her BA degree in Journalism and Radio/Television/Motion Pictures from UNC-Chapel Hill. After working in production on over 25 feature films including Wyatt Earp, The Getaway, Species, Mulholland Falls, U-turn, and Free Willy 2, Jennifer went back to film school and studied documentary film. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting provided a completion grant to distribute “The Teachings of Jon” nationally on public television. "The Teachings of Jon" is her first feature length documentary. |
John Sanza - Producer/WriterJohn Sanza has worked in production since 1994. In 2000 he began working as a broadcast cameraman and has worked with, among others, CBS News, CBS Sports, CNN, and NBC Sports. He currently works with Fox Sports and the Emmy Award winning “NASCAR on Fox” team, and is the recipient of four Emmy Awards for Best Team Technical Remote (2001, 2003, 2004, & 2005). While he has produced four independent short films, " The Teachings of Jon" is his first documentary feature. |
